Gavin Douglas is a multi-instrumentalist who has been hosting Irish Music Sessions in North Carolina for twenty years. Originally from Canada, Gavin is an ethnomusicologist at UNC Greensboro where he specializes in Celtic and Southeast Asian music traditions.

Want to join in the jam, but don’t want to lug your instrument around all day?
You can visit “Instrument Check” in room 203 of the Cultural Arts Center to have your instrument stored for you in a secure, temperature controlled area.
Instrument Check will be open during the following hours:
Saturday: 12pm - 9pm
Sunday: 12pm - 4pm
